Anandi Rao
Anandi Rao is a Ph.D. candidate in comparative literature at the University of California Irvine. Her teaching and research interests are in postcolonial feminist and queer studies, translation studies, world literature and film and Indian adaptations and translations of Shakespeare’s plays. Her dissertation is titled ‘Desdemona to Deshdamini: Gender, nation and the intimacies of un/translatables’.
