Anitha Balachandran

Anitha Balachandran is an experimental animator, illustrator and educator based in Bangalore. She has been commissioned to create site-specific animated works for museums and historic sites across India and combines experimental drawing, stop-motion and digital techniques. Her personal projects follow a longstanding interest in oral histories and memory. Anitha researches issues of identity and representation in Indian animation and teaches at the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology.
