Begoña Ivars-Nicolás
Begoña Ivars is professor at the Miguel Hernández University, UMH (Spain), teaching classes in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication degrees. She also works in the Communication Office of the UMH developing social communication strategies. Doctor in Social Anthropology, she is part of the Observatory of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising Research Group, OCAP, and focuses her research on the impact of information and communication technologies on the Internet media. She has given conferences and published several articles of scientific relevance for the audiovisual communication environment and the improvement of teaching. She has also been a visiting professor at Saint Petersburg State University of Film and Television (Russia), Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic) and Beira Interior University (Portugal).
