Chad E. Painter
Chad E. Painter, Ph.D. University of Missouri, is an assistant professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Dayton. His work examines the normative role of the media, specifically the portrayal of journalists in popular culture; media depictions of gender, race, disability and sexual orientation; and the historical and contemporary role of the alternative press in the US media ecology.
