Gabrielle Oliveira
Gabrielle Oliveira was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil and received her Ph.D. in Anthropology and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is an assistant professor of Education in the Lynch School of Education and Human Development at Boston College in Massachusetts. For the last decade, Gabrielle has focused on how immigrant families care for each other across transnational borders and specifically how children fare under these circumstances. She is currently a post-doctoral fellow with the National Academy of Education/Spencer Foundation.
