Inês Ferreira-Norman

With a degree in illustration but a professional career in arts management and production, it was in 2015 that Ferreira-Norman resumed her artistic practice. Inês lived for fifteen years in the United Kingdom, where she worked with Raqib Shaw, Stanza, Alexandra Mir, David Blackmore and paula roush, and with institutions such as the Barbican, Frieze, Tate Liverpool, Oxford Modern and managed spaces and communities of artists in South and East London for arebyte/arbeit. After she completed her MFA at the University of the Arts London, Ferreira-Norman moved to Portugal in 2018. She currently works in the field of art and science, performance, mark making, material spiritualities and eco art practices. Ferreira-Norman was the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Arts Writing by Students until late 2023 and she has been trained by The Publishing Training House in London and as an English language teacher; she writes in Portuguese at Arte Capital.
