Ira Nadel
Ira Nadel, professor of English at the University of British Columbia, has published biographies of Leonard Cohen, Tom Stoppard, David Mamet and Leon Uris. His critical books include Joyce and the Jews and Modernism’s Second Act. He has also edited Ezra Pound in Context for Cambridge and is currently completing a critical life of Philip Roth. He has lectured in Shanghai, Jerusalem and, most recently, Moscow where he spoke on Beckett and Russia.
