Jane Macnaughton
Jane Macnaughton is professor of medical humanities at Durham University and Director of the University’s Institute for Medical Humanities (IMH). She held a senior investigator award for the Life of Breath, jointly with Havi Carel at the University of Bristol. Her research focuses on the idea of the ‘symptom’. She is also an honorary consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology at the University Hospital of North Durham.
