Jared T. Macary
Jared T. Macary, MA, is a Ph.D. candidate in communication and media studies (completion 2022) at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication. Macary has worked multi-nationally as a communications consultant and in public health for the US Food and Drug Administration and National Cancer Institute. He has also completed service as a US Peace Corps volunteer in Togo, West Africa. Macary’s research interests include strategic, visual and environmental communication with a focus on wildfire.
