Jennifer Burns

Jennifer Burns is a professor of Italian Studies at the University of Warwick. Her research engages with contemporary Italian literature and culture and specifically the field of transnational Italian writing and reading, with a focus on migrant, mixed-ethnicity and postcolonial writers and their engagement with Italian culture and nationhood (Migrant Imaginaries [Peter Lang, 2013]). She is an editor of the new series, Transnational Modern Languages published by Liverpool University Press, and will publish in 2022 the keynote volume to the series, co-edited with Derek Duncan, Transnational Modern Languages: A Handbook (Liverpool University Press).
