Sophie Kurkdjian
Sophie Kurkdjian holds a Ph.D. in history from the University of Paris I and is an assistant professor at The American University of Paris. As an associate researcher at the IHTP-CNRS, she works on the cultural and social history of clothing and fashion in the contemporary period, and more specifically on the role of workers and labour in the fashion industry. In 2018, she launched the research network Culture(s) de Mode in collaboration with the French Ministry of Culture.
