Leila Adu-Gilmore

Composer-theorist Leila Adu-Gilmore’s writing on Ghanaian, Black and electronic musics are published in books and journals such as The Music Technology Cookbook (Oxford University Press, 2020) and Critical Studies in Improvisation. Composing and performing globally, she appears on over twenty releases, holds a Ph.D. in music composition from Princeton and teaches in New York University’s music technology program.
