LJ (Nic) Theo
Nic Theo started his professional life as an attorney, and then turned to film production before embarking on an academic career. His scholarly background is interdisciplinary, based in English literature, philosophy, sociology and psychology, and oriented around media and representation. Current research involves exploring architectures of (visual) media, focusing on how contemporary narrations engage discursively, sociopolitically and psychologically with subjectivities, and how they enable the emergence of individual agency and voices.
