Lotte Dalgaard Christensen

Lotte Dalgaard Christensen is a Ph.D. fellow at Department of Environmental Science, Aarhus University, and has been a visiting researcher at Fridtjof Nansen Institute, Oslo and Institute of Social and Economic Change, Bangalore. Her work centres on the bioeconomy transition, which she investigates as part of the project, ‘New Nordic Ways to Green Growth’, supported by Nordforsk. Of particular interest is the many trade-offs inherent in the bioeconomy transition, for instance national vs. regional interests and biodiversity vs. novel biomass utilization. Published work includes topics such as seaweed cultivation and the development of set-theoretic methods.
