Luz Neira García
Dr Luz Neira García has a Ph.D. in Art History obtained at the University of São Paulo (USP) in 2012. Her thesis, titled ‘Printed textiles in Brazil, from origin to originality’ (2012), has contributed to the field of fashion studies in Brazil, discussing aspects of the tropical myth about the relationship between the political agenda and the textile industry. She has been teaching on fashion design courses in Brazilian universities for ten years and is currently established in Italy as an independent researcher.
