Maggie Parke
Maggie Parke is a second year Ph.D. student at the National Institute for Excellence in the Creative Industries at Bangor University, where she is studying the adaptation process of select fantasy works. She is focusing on The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Twilight, His Dark Materials and The Dark is Rising from book to film, to video game and to merchandise. Originally from the United States, she has spent the past year observing film sets and game design companies and researching with authors in Boston, Portland and San Francisco.
