Malgorzata Bakalarz-Duverger

Malgorzata Bakalarz-Duverger is the head of the Archives and Academic Collaborations Manager at the Zachęta National Gallery in Warsaw, Poland. She is an art historian and sociologist, her research interests include collective memory, visual culture, and politics and curatorial aspects of archives. She teaches at Parsons School of Design and her publications include ‘Whose memory? Whose activism? Remembering, forgetting, and negotiating the narratives about the past in multiethnic spaces of borderland Poland’, in The Routledge Handbook of Memory Activism (Routledge, 2022).
