Marta Fernández Ruiz
Marta Fernández Ruiz is a lecturer at the Image Processing and Multimedia Technology Center. She holds a Ph.D. on game studies (Carlos III University) and is an academic coordinator of the Video Game Design and Development degree at Universistat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). She is a member of the DiCode research group. She teaches serious games design, real-time storytelling and augmented reality. She has also taught at the Design and Management of Transmedia Projects degree (CSEU La Salle) and at the 3D Animations, Games and Interactive Environments vocational training programme (Istituto Europeo di Design). Co-founder of Labhipermedia (Carlos III University spin-off), she has contributed to the development of multimedia educational applications and resources. She has published different articles on national and international indexed journals.
