Michael Embacher

Michael Embacher studied architecture at the Technical University in Vienna (without completing his degree) and later worked in partnership with Günther Domenig and Sepp Müller. In 1994, he started his own company. Since then he has developed and realized numerous projects in the fields of architecture and design, including exhibition concepts, private buildings, and patent development. In 2003, he received the Loos-Preis in bronze for the Salettl in the gardens of Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna. Embacher and his team have a conceptual approach. They occupy a niche between architecture, a passion to invent technical constructions, precision-work craftsmanship, and an artistic dimension.
