Michael Pakvis
Michael Pakvis is a teaching assistant and Ph.D. researcher at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and its affiliated imec-SMIT research group, conducting research on the construction of viewpoint diversity in public service media (PSM). His research explores how viewpoint diversity is discussed by editors and staff within newsrooms and how values such as impartiality, neutrality and balance shape news reporting in accordance with their public remit.
