Miguel Errazu
Miguel Errazu is a postdoctoral researcher in film studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. His work addresses the cultural history of Latin American counter-hegemonic cinemas, with a special focus on Mexican filmmaking, militant film collectives, counter-pedagogical cinematic projects and the discourses of minor technologies. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Alphaville: Journal of Film and Screen Media, Studies in Spanish & Latin American Cinemas, Fotocinema and Re-visiones. He is co-editor with Alberto Berzosa of the volume ‘Súper 8 contra el grano’ published in Secuencias: Revista de historia del cine No. 55 (UAM, 2022) and curator of the corresponding screening programme, presented at the Punto de Vista International Documentary Film Festival of Navarra in 2023.
