Mindy Damon
Dr Mindy Damon enjoys a stylistically diverse performance career that includes national and international vocal performances of varying commercial and classical styles including jazz, pop, opera, worship and musical theatre. From Walt Disney World’s ‘Voices of Liberty’ in Orlando, Florida to Sea World in San Diego, she has sung across the United States and abroad. She continues to balance singing and voice teaching with her passion for research. Her research interests include general voice issues, pedagogy in belt voice teaching and online voice teaching. Dr Damon serves as a clinician and has shared her research at several conferences such as the 2017 Estill World Voice Symposium in Quebec, and 2017 Association for Popular Music Education in Denver, Colorado. She currently is a professor of voice and commercial music at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
