Nadia Pantidi

Dr Nadia Pantidi (BA, M.Eng., Ph.D.) is currently a lecturer at the Computational Media Innovation Centre, Victoria University of Wellington (VUW). Her research spans the areas of human–computer interaction (HCI), design and psychology with a particular focus on understanding people’s everyday experiences of using technology; and evaluating and designing interventions and technologies that are sensitive to, and reflective of, the values, practices and experiences of end users and stakeholders using participatory, user-centred approaches. Her current research is concerned with investigating how local communities and/or new forms of community engagement can be supported by digital technologies and services. Her work has been published in high-impact international conferences and journals in the field of HCI, such as the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Conferences on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI), Designing Interactive Systems (DIS) and Communities and Technologies (C&T).
