Nicola J. Reavley

Associate professor Nicola Reavley is a principal research fellow and deputy director of the Centre for Mental Health, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health at The University of Melbourne, Australia. Her research focuses on the following key areas: (1) Interventions to improve population mental health and mental health literacy, including mental health in young people and workplace mental health. Nicola has been principal investigator on a number of projects that aim to assist organizations to better manage mental health issues. (2) Population monitoring to assess population mental health, mental health literacy, stigma and discrimination, including the 2011 National Survey of Mental Health Literacy and Stigma and the 2014 National Survey of Experiences of Discrimination and Positive Treatment. (3) Adolescent and young adult health, particularly in the area of mental health and resilience. She was a member of the Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health and Wellbeing and is a chief investigator on the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence Driving Investment in Adolescent Health.
