Olabode Wale Ojoniyi holds a Ph.D. in Performing Arts from University of Ilorin. He has published articles in local and international journals and many plays: The Primate and the Lost Clergy (2010), The Infidel and the Blood Suckers (2010), Once Upon An Evil Genius (2011), a collection of Four Short Plays (2014) and Two Short Plays (2016). Some of his unpublished plays are ‘Our Wife Has Gone Mad’ (2016), ‘Beggars’ League, Escorts’ Union’ (2017), ‘The Phallus Monologues’ (2017) and ‘For the Love of Sisyphus’ (2017). He is an actor, director and a 2015 postdoctoral fellow of ACLS/AHP. Presently, he is on a 2017/2018 AHP Postdoctoral Fellowship Residency at the International Institute for Advanced Study, IIAS, University of Ghana, Legon. He is the winner of 2017 OLU-OBAFEMI/SONTA, Society of Nigeria Theatre Artists, playwriting competition.
