Owen G. Parry

Owen G. Parry is a London-based artist, performer and writer. His research explores the connectedness of visual art, performance and queer cultures with pop fandom, mythmaking and the vernacular web. Publications include Freedom Is a Performance Hangout (Performance Research, 2023), Shipping Art Practice and Fandom (Fandom as Methodology, 2019), Fully Automated Larry Stylinson (Obiej, 2018), Yoko Ono Fanfiction (The Creative Critic, 2018) and Mpreg versus Homonormcore (The New Inquiry, 2015). Parry has exhibited in the United Kingdom and internationally including Ireland, Belgium, Finland, Canada, South Korea and United States. He is lecturer in critical studies fine art at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.
