Piotr Wajda
Piotr Wajda is a Ph.D. candidate at University of Gdansk, Poland. Currently he is writing a thesis focused on recent Nordic horror films. In his researches he attempts to explore ground of genre cinema and exploitation films that were usually ignored by Polish film studies community. His master’s thesis focused on poetics of giallo films. In 2016 he became co-founder of the Unit of Production Studies and New Film History in University of Gdansk. He has published in Panoptikum: Film, Nowe Media, Sztuki Wizualne and MASKA – Anthopological, Sociological and Cultural Journal.
