Ramya Ravisankar
Ramya Ravisankar is a multidisciplinary artist, researcher and educator whose art-making/academic research practice is informed by posthumanism, new materialism and post-qualitative, experimental, artistic and art-making-based research methodologies. Her work is rooted in her experiences as a first-generation American of South Indian descent. She earned a Ph.D. in arts administration, education and policy from Ohio State University. She also holds an MFA in studio art from Pratt Institute.
