Rémi Lanzoni

As a native from Lyon, France, Rémi Lanzoni (Ph.D., University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, NC) is associate professor of Romance languages and teaches Italian cinema at Wake Forest University, North Carolina, United States. He specializes in French and Italian film and has published several books on national cinemas: Rire de plomb: La comédie à l’italienne des années 70 (Presses de l’Harmattan, 2017), French Cinema: From Its Beginnings to the Present (Bloomsbury, 2015), French Comedy on Screen: A Cinematic History (Palgrave, 2014) and Comedy Italian Style: The Golden Age of Italian Film Comedies (Continuum, 2009). He is currently serving as director of Italian studies at WFU.
