Sara Brandellero

Sara Brandellero is assistant professor at the Leiden University Centre for the Arts in Society, The Netherlands. She specializes in the literatures and cultures of the Portuguese-speaking world, with a special interest in Brazil and Lusophone Africa, focusing on questions of mobility and spatial agency. Her current research focuses on experiences and representations of urban night spaces associated with diverse migrant communities. She leads the HERA-funded collaborative project ‘Night spaces: Migration, culture and integration in Europe’ (NITE, 2019–22).
