Sarah Akrofi-Quarcoo

Sarah Akrofi-Quarcoo, Ph.D., is a lecturer at the Department of Communication Studies, University of Ghana, with over thirty years of professional work in radio journalism and over a decade of university teaching and research on media, gender, radio journalism, radio audiences and radio histories with a focus on women and children. Her recent publications include ‘Children and literary broadcasts on Radio Ghana: Listening to Story Time’ and Taataa Tee (Obsidian, 2019).
