Shirin Teifouri

Shirin Teifouri is a Kurdish-Iranian researcher, creative practitioner and poet. Her work has explored the function of art-based storytellings linked to cross-cultural narratives of migration, displacement and mental health. She has designed and run a wide range of creative projects in collaboration with people from diverse ethnic backgrounds, charities, community partners, museums and libraries. She has published poetry in literary journals and anthologies including Route 57, Verse Matters (Valley Press), Wretched Strangers (Boiler House Press) and Liminal Transit Review.
