Steven Kahn

Steven Kahn was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1976. His father Joseph was in the television and music businesses in the 1950s, having worked as a stagehand on the Startime Kids variety TV show, and who later became good friends with (and worked with) Bobby Darin and Connie Francis, among others. Steven, who possesses a master’s degree in secondary social studies education, has cultivated his passion for writing and the history of music and movies from the 1950s to 1980s, having written for publications including Echoes of the Past (2010–16) (which has been displayed in the archives section of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame museum in Cleveland, Ohio), Drive in Asylum (Groovy Doom and Co., 2023) (focusing on independent, grindhouse and horror films) and other publications.
