Susana Oliveira
Susana Oliveira is associate professor at FBAUL and director of the Drawing Department at Faculty of Fine-Arts, Lisbon University. She graduated in Fine Arts - Painting holds a MA in Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art, a Ph.D. in Communication and Culture and published several articles and books on visual culture, image theory, and illustration. Oliveira is co-proponent and vice-chair of COST Action Writing Urban Places: New Narratives on the European City. She also works as a freelance illustrator and has published over twenty-five youth and children’s books.
