Taey Iohe

Taey Iohe is an artist and writer based in London. Projects range across art writing, installation, moving image, sound, and performance, evolving out of interests in notion of translating between different cultural and socio-political spaces. Her artworks has been shown widely in international art spaces including National Museum of Modern Arts, Korea (2016), ARC Gallery, Chicago (2014), Trunk Gallery (Seoul, 2013), To and For Gallery (London, 2012), Golden Thread Gallery (Belfast, 2009), Arko Museum of Modern Art (Seoul, 2011), and Zebra Poetry and Film Festival (Berlin, 2010) and so on. She received a Ph.D. in Artistic Research and Translation Studies in the programme of Gender, Identity and Culture at the University College Dublin. She has won a scholarship in Writing on Borders from the John Hume Institute of Irish Global Studies (2014). She taught MA Poetic Practice (Royal Holloway), MA Film Video and New Screen Media (UEL), MA Expanded Media (Kansas) as a visiting lecturer. Her website is at http://www.taey.com.
