Veronica Garcia-Lazo
Veronica Garcia-Lazo, Ph.D., is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Education of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her research focuses on the potential of visual arts education and arts-based research methodologies for questioning dominant ways of creating knowledge. She applies critical theories to explore the possibilities of art education for addressing current sociocultural and educational challenges. Her background as a visual artist and educator propels her continuous desire to consider creative ways of thinking that could support equity and social change.
