Victoria Walters

Dr Victoria Walters is an academic and digital learning developer who writes and makes visual practice as a commitment to her felt vocation as a teacher and artist. She holds a doctorate from the University of Ulster on Joseph Beuys’s work and has published widely on the artist. Victoria’s practice relates to narratives of home and the states of emergency and exception. She is a member of artist research group ‘Space, Place, Practice’ and the ‘Place Wisdom’ working group of the International Society for Ethnology and Folklore (SIEF). Her research interests include theories of language and the relationship between art and anthropology.
