Xuan Wang
Xuan Wang is a sociolinguist and a senior lecturer in Chinese studies at Cardiff University. Her research is focused on language and identity-making in contemporary China. Her work has been published in journals such as Applied Linguistics Review and Media, Culture & Society. She has recently co-edited a book on the cultural politics of Chineseness (Multilingual Matters, 2021).
