Ye Zheng
Ye Zheng graduated from China Academy of Art (CAA), obtained his Magister Artium for art and culture science from the University of Bremen and his Ph.D. in art history from the Free University Berlin. He has worked for Weserburg Museum of Modern Art in Bremen and Hamburger Kunsthalle, and was curator of the International Literature Festival Berlin and Lessingtage Festival in Hamburg. Ye Zheng works now as researcher and lecturer at CAA’s Institute of Contemporary Comprehensive Painting, with his main interests in modern and contemporary art history, cross-cultural research on pattern and textile art, as well as Bauhaus and modern design.
