Michael Janis
Michael Janis is Associate Professor of English at Morehouse College, where he teaches literary theory and West African fiction and film. Author of Africa after Modernism: Transitions in Literature, Media, and Philosophy, he has recently written on African cinema in ‘Remembering Sembène: The Grandfather of West African Feminism’ and on the intersection of politics and culture in ‘Obama, Africa, and the Post-Racial’.
