All our book series are available to purchase as collections too.

How does it work?
Access is provided through our partner Ebooks.com (the most ethical e-books retailer according to the Ethical Consumer magazine). The collections are available on both a subscription and perpetual ownership basis with a free trial of 30 days.

You will be assigned a library administration portal where you can see the collections you own, collect COUNTER-compliant usage reports, create new logins for your colleagues and download MARC records, which you can use to integrate the collection into your own OPAC.

How do our patrons access the books?
The access is provided either through IP range, patron login or both. Our customers usually opt for IP range access. EZProxy is also available for remote access. Ebooks.com supports Shibboleth and soon OpenAthens access too.

What formats are available for download?
The books are downloaded as ePub or PDF for Adobe Digital Editions. E-book Collections reader does not require the use of proprietary plug-ins or software.

Can I see my library’s usage stats?
You can access COUNTER-compliant usage reports from your administration portal.

Where can I see the MARC records for books that I own?
You can export MARC records from the library administration portal and upload them to your catalogue using the Z39.50 protocol.

My library subscribes to a journals collection. Can I have a discount?
Yes, we are happy to offer e-book and journal packages at a discount for both purchases and subscriptions. Please note that access for journals will continue to be provided through Ingenta Connect.

I need a particular set of titles that is not offered by any of the collections.
We are able to put together Tailored Collections upon request. Please get in touch if this is of interest to you. All book series are available as e-book sets too.
