Aafje de Roest
Aafje de Roest is a Ph.D. researcher in Dutch literary studies at Leiden University. Her dissertation focuses on how contemporary Dutch hip hop artists and members of their online, active audience negotiate their cultural identities against a local background in a global context through contemporary Dutch hip hop. The project is funded by the Dutch Research Council (NWO).
