Aaron Balick

Aaron Balick, Ph.D., is a UKCP registered psychotherapist, supervisor and psychological consultant working in London. He is an honorary lecturer at the Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies at the University of Essex, where he teaches on the MA in Psychoanalytic Studies and participates on the doctoral programme as well; he also lectures, supervises and provides external examination for a number of other institutions in the UK. In addition to his clinical and academic work, Aaron is a media spokesperson for the UKCP and a mental health contributor for the BBC online and on the radio. He has two books due for publication in 2013, his book for children Keep Your Cool: How to Deal with Life’s Worries and Stress (May 2013) and The Psychodynamics of Social Networking: Connected-Up Instantaneous Culture and the Self (Autumn 2013). Aaron is a founding and executive member of The Relational School UK.
