Adam Siegel

Adam Siegel is bibliographer for languages, literatures, and performing arts at the University of California, Davis. In addition to his professional and scholarly work in and around libraries and the control of information, he is also a translator. Recent translations include Wolfgang Ernst’s Stirrings in the Archives: Order from Disorder (Rowman & Littlefield, 2015); recent awards include a National Endowment for the Arts Literary Translation Fellowship for VasiliiGolovanov’s documentary novel, The Island. “Twenty Theses on the Anarchive” is constitutes part of a longer study of the ontology of libraries and other memory institutions.
