Adrienne Gibbons Oehlers is a Ph.D. student in theatre at The Ohio State University. Her work intersects both dance and theatre, focusing on musical theatre, women’s roles onstage, and the evolution of the showgirl. As a professional actor since college, she has performed extensively in musical theatre, including as a Radio City Rockette.
