Akeyo Onoe

Akeyo Onoe, RDT, BCT, is a professor at Graduate School of Science for Human Services, Ritsumeikan University in Japan. She published the first Japanese book on drama therapy for the general public in 2006, the second book on a brief drama therapy technique that she invented for children in 2011 and translated Acting for Real (written by Renee Emunah) into Japanese. She practices drama therapy for various kinds of populations including children and addicts, and teaches drama therapy at the graduate school and Drama Therapy Education and Research Center in Japan.
