Akriti Rastogi
Akriti Rastogi is a Ph.D. candidate in the Cinema Studies Department of the School of Arts and Aesthetics at the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. Her doctoral research traces the monetization channels of cinematic paratexts in a world driven by social media. She received the Fulbright Nehru Doctoral grant and the ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship to support her work. She was a visiting doctoral researcher at the Department of Anthropology, New York University, as a part of her Fulbright grant in 2019–20. She has previously produced news broadcasts at All India Radio, New Delhi, and taught cinema and media studies courses at the Department of Humanities, GITAM, Hyderabad.
