Alaena Turner
Alaena Turner is a senior lecturer on the 2D pathway of BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. Between 2015 and 2019 she completed a practice-based Ph.D. at the University of Leeds funded by an AHRC scholarship. Prior to this Alaena Turner was awarded the position of honorary research fellow of the Materials Research Project of Slade School of Fine Art (2013). Alaena Turner has exhibited across the United Kingdom and Europe with organizations such as South London Gallery, Leeds Art Gallery, Kingsgate Project Space (London), Limoncello (London), Guest Projects (London), Mostyn Gallery (Wales), Passatage Studios (Barcelona) and Tørreloft (Copenhagen).
