Alain Lioret
Alain Lioret is a generative artist and a professor at Paris 8 University teaching with the Art and Technology of the Images (ATI) and working within the laboratory INREV (Digital images and Virtual Reality). He is involved in an art research-creation loop within a context of artificial life, artificial intelligence and quantum computation.
He is the author of the books Émergence de Nouvelles Esthétiques du Mouvement (Paris, 2004, L'Hamartann)and L’Art Génératif (Paris, 2012, L'Hamartann). As a specialist in research and development (innovative techniques in 3D animation with theuse of dynamic simulations), he participated in a variety of projects with virtual actors jn virtual sets withAttitude Studio's R&D team. His recent work includes in-depth lecturing, research, creation and publication on quantum computing, artificial life and complexity using techniques combining computational and biological inspiration, from neural networks, genetic algorithms and programming, fractals and crowd simulations.
