Alexander Creighton

Alexander Creighton, a sixth-year graduate student in English at Harvard University, writes about how ideas of time in works of fiction connect to the cultural and historical contexts in which those works emerged. His in-progress dissertation, ‘Fiction’s metronomes’, considers time as it is signified both in language and through novels’ unfolding forms.
